Here at Wellspring there is a close-working group of professionals to help you in the areas of medicine and counseling.

We value you, as our patient. We are committed to you as a whole person -- your physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational health.

Our use of the name Wellspring (Isaiah 58:11; John 4:14) represents a weaving together of Christian health care ministries and services in Northern New England. We hold in common Christian faith confession and whole person approach to health care. Wellspring Health Center in Biddeford serves as the central location for most of our programs but not all of our activities.

The Wellspring Counseling Program is a team of licensed therapists who serve in a variety of locations in Northern New England. Please see the Counseling page for a complete listing of Wellspring counselors and locations.

Wellspring Counseling and Training Services, Inc. is a supervision and mentoring program for interns in Masters level training.
Interns come to us from the MSW program at University of New England, the MA programs in counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Liberty University, and other graduate programs. In addition we host three peer supervision groups for professional counselors.

Wellspring Health Ministries is a non-profit, charitable organization set up to provide free and/or affordable health care and Christian resources to individuals and churches. We publish Springwater, host workshops and retreats, and train church leaders in Christian healing ministry.

Our active prayer ministry meets weekly and is blessed with a chain of prayer intercessors. Our medical staff and counselors donate services to the ministry in the form of no cost or low cost health care. We have over twice as many requests for ministry visits as we can afford to handle through our counseling and medical practices. We appreciate your financial and prayer support so we can extend this ministry to the many who otherwise have to wait or go elsewhere. See the Ministries page to learn more.
